Safety Net Systems Connector

Brighton Center, a not for profit agency, has a part-time Safety Net Systems Connector opportunity for an individual who would like to make a career in a not-for-profit organization.  We are looking for an individual who has a passion to work in an organization that helps its customers become self-sufficient.

The role of the Safety Net Systems Connector is to facilitate the intersection between services offered in the primary prevention system and the Northern Kentucky Safety Net Alliance. The Safety Net Systems Connector will work collaboratively with partners to create a scaffolding of services to provide concrete support services to families. The ideal candidate must be a relationship builder, with a passion to build connections and simplify processes among safety net providers.

Job Responsibilities (not inclusive)

  • Work with safety net providers to operationalize and document “warm lines” of service to connect families to concrete needs
  • Participate in, and provide support for, Northern Kentucky Safety Net Alliance General Meeting, Work Supports Committee, and Food Committee to align efforts of the Safety Net Alliance to  project goals 
  • Connect the Safety Net Alliance efforts to the primary prevention system efforts at the provider level 

Qualifications (not inclusive) 

  • Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Commitment to cultural competency and a deep understanding of the significance of diversity, equity, and inclusion 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • A licensed driver and reliable transportation

26 hours per week  

Wage $15.00 per hour non-exempt
