Job Summary

Provides administrative and programmatic support to a president. Provides a professional image consistent with the President's office, using tact, integrity, and confidentiality in all situations.

Job Duties:

  • Provides senior, executive support to the President/CEO in all activities.
  • Handles a wide variety of situations involving administrative functions for the president.
  • Supervision of daily office activities to assure the President's office is operating smoothly and efficiently.
  • Participates in XLT Leadership Team Meetings & Board of Director's Meetings.
  • Transcribes minutes for each meeting and maintains up-to-date records of each.
  • Coordinates President's Schedule to maximize time and responsibilities.
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, and travel.
  • Budget management for President’s office and other duties as assigned
     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2 to 4 years experience
  • Must be able to work independently.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with many individuals at all levels throughout the internal college environment and external business and community partners, representing himself/herself professionally and courteously.
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and, in writing.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Word).
     

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background/knowledge of college operations
• Project planning
• Experience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred.
• Experience working at the community college level is preferred.
