You’re invited to meet the collector during an evening of Art and Poetry as we celebrate the opening of Kara Walker: Cut to the Quick
As a member of the African American Chamber, please join us for an exclusive opportunity to meet and greet with, Jordan D. Schnitzer, the collector of these powerful and provocative works by Kara Walker, prior to visiting the exhibition. Kara Walker: Cut to the Quick offers a broad overview of her career through more than 80 works from the collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, premier collectors of post war and contemporary art in the United States.
Following the reception, you may tour the exhibition and attend Say it Aloud: An Evening of Poetry and Spoken Word Performances in the Bimel Courtyard from 7:00pm – 8:00pm.
This evening is hosted by the Cincinnati Art Museum in partnership with the Donald P. Sowell Endowment Committee of the Cincinnati Art Museum.
We kindly ask that all guests certify that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have tested negative within 72 hours of the event. Masks are required within the museum unless eating or drinking.
