Speaker | Frederick Lewis
Filmmaker Frederick Lewis gives us a behind-the-lens glimpse into the life and works of Black American writer Paul Laurence Dunbar, a major figure of the Harlem Renaissance. Lewis will address his own filmmaking process, discuss his research, and show brief clips from his documentary about Dunbar, Beyond the Mask. The documentary will be screened in its entirety at Harriet Beecher Stowe House the following Saturday, February 25.
